You are so natural and inviting and the two of you obviously enjoyed the back and forth.  Well done.  To watch and listen to two people I hold in such high regard was very special. Thank you both for the thoughtful discussion.” ~ Carol Caruso, Counselor,  Oct 10, 2020

“Asked a lot of good questions and made me think.  I don’t get challenged enough.  It brought more to the surface and made me think even when we are not in the session.  Even toned, laughter in the right areas.  In-tuned to the way my voice dropped.  Made sure I looked at things from a different perspective.”  ~  Jo-Ann, May 23, 2016

“I experienced coaching for the first time with Sushama Kirtikar at a time in my life when I was experiencing dissatisfaction in my work, fear and a sense of confusion about the steps that I needed to take to guide my career path to a more fruitful experience rather than letting it float around like a rudderless boat which was being tossed around with the flow of time, routine and external forces. Having reached a state of feeling like a misfit in what I was doing, the coaching sessions came in like a gush of much needed oxygen.

I could prioritize my concerns and decide which issues needed to be discussed first. This put me at ease. Since all the essential agreements between my coach and myself were drawn up right at the beginning, it gave me a clear understanding of what the expectations were from me as the recipient of the coaching process. It gave me a reassurance of confidentiality of what I disclose in the sessions and gave me a space to talk, think and sound out ambiguous thoughts which I was trying to make sense of.

I had significant insights into my beliefs, behavior patterns, and reactions and how I was dealing and engaging with life and people around me. Some explained my goal blocking behaviors in other domains of life.  I could engage in problem solving in related areas which in turn fuelled problem solving in the main concern. Without giving me directives, I was assisted in finding my own solutions and reasons for the action steps.  Homework in itself was an introspective exercise which I found very useful to break down my concern and thought process which in turn aided me in generating solutions. The insight I gained helped me join the dots and figure out the entire picture.

The end of the sessions left me with more emotional energy to deal with circumstances and think through concerns by getting clarity about both the external environment as well as my internal functioning.” ~ Aparna V.   Aug 8, 2014
